Meet the Team

Jeff Gassner, J.D., MIM | Managing Director

Our Managing Director, Jeff Gassner has been supplying construction projects in the overseas market since he first arrived in South Florida in 1989.

After receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Emory University in Atlanta (where he and Helene met), he attended the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) in Phoenix, Arizona where he focused on international business and earned his MIM (Master of International Management) before moving to Miami.

His first position was Director of International Marketing for a scaffolding and shoring manufacturer, establishing a distribution network throughout the Caribbean and Central America.  He then went to work for an international building materials distributor while attending the night division at the University of Miami School of Law, earning his law degree in 1993.

Once admitted to the Florida Bar, he started his own building material supply company in addition to running his own law firm which focused on international commercial collections and transactions.   As the building material business flourished, Jeff focused his energies there and has been fortunate to be a key supplier in a full range of construction projects throughout the Caribbean for the past 20 years and counting....

Helene Gassner, Esq. | CEO

Helene Gassner comes from a family of builders starting with her grandfather Jack, who after coming to the United States in the early 1900s went into the plumbing business installing boilers in buildings throughout New York City.

Joined by Helene’s father and uncle they ventured into new construction, building schools in the New York area and eventually moving to Florida where they developed numerous multi-family projects.  Helene worked as a commercial leasing agent in Broward County after returning to Florida after graduating from Emory University in Atlanta with a BBA in Marketing.  She then went to the University of Miami School of Law and once admitted to the Florida Bar, worked for a real estate firm doing closings and transactions.

Helene is also a Florida Supreme Court circuit civil mediator and her negotiating skills are an indispensable asset to the company.  Her attention to detail and overall keen business sense have also proved invaluable to the growth of the business over the years.

Stephen Salasky

Stephen Salasky is originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia and is passionate about all things water related. Naturally he chose a career field to combine his love for the ocean, helping others, and construction of building materials.

Stephen’s father was a general contractor and developer building homes along the waterfront. From his early teen years he would help his dad on site doing anything his father asked him to do. This is where his career for building materials began and shaping his work ethic. While in college at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA- Stephen earned a degree B.S. Maritime Supply Chain Management. -  Having one of the largest seaports on the east coast as his backyard Stephen started to learn about the Port of Virginia and became actively involved with studying the impacts to the economy the global shipping industry had on his hometown and world wide.

In 2016, Stephen moved to south Florida to take a job “along the docks” with a major container shipping company, working day and night ensuring cargo loaded for Caribbean ports was properly accounted for and stowed safely.

Thirst for knowledge, background in construction, and drive for international business led him to Triangle Exports Worldwide. Being able to help and interact with people on island, travel, and keep up with the trends in construction is something that really keeps him passionate about coming to work everyday.
